My husband and I began this journey of buying a 2nd home in Breckenridge, in January 2025. Our daughter lives in Denver and we wanted to find a mountain home that was under 2 hours from where she lives. A friend who had previously worked with Michele to buy and sell their Breckenridge home highly recommended her to us. What a tremendous referral Michele was. We started the process with a phone call and Michele began to put together listings and educate us on Colorado living. She was available to us whenever we had questions and was extremely knowledgeable about all things Breckenridge. Her integrity and follow-thru were a constant. The first few months were spent building a relationship that allowed Michele to know exactly what we were looking for. As spring came around, the search was narrowing down. We had made some decisions that were important to us, such as, our desire having public sewage and water, for example. Michele shared her knowledge in both of these areas and answered all of our questions about finding our Colorado home. By June we were ready to fly out and start the process of looking at homes. She showed us a variety of developments, in the area. She knew the style of home we wanted and she created with us a list of 8 homes to look at. We were able to quickly eliminate homes and within two days we were down to 2 homes that would be perfect fits for our needs. The tedious part of buying a home came next, submitting an offer and negotiating with the seller. Michele was either in person or a quick phone call away to support and guide us through this exciting and anxiety provoking portion of the home buying journey. Michele possesses an incredible ability to connect with people and has impeccable organizational skills that created the structure we needed to feel safe in committing to buy a 2nd home (in a new state). Michele listened to all of our needs and gave us all the time we needed. She was able to accurately hear us allowing her to find us our dream home. Her kind, caring demeanor was always present and she gave us answers to any questions we had and if she didn't know the answer she was honest and got back to us with the information we requested. This ultimately allowed us to make informed and confident decisions. She made what is a very stressful and vulnerable venture, not so scary. We had lots of laughs and great conversations along the way. She went above and beyond for us. We are incredibly grateful to her. We feel unbelievably fortunate to be the owners of a beautiful mountain home that neither of us can completely believe is really ours!
